Incentive Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
Reviews on PeptideReview.co.uk only mean something if they reflect genuine, first-hand experiences. To protect that trust, we don’t allow reviews to be bought, rewarded, or faked. This policy explains what we don’t allow and what happens when someone breaks the rules.
1. What we don’t allow
We remove reviews, and may act against the accounts and businesses behind them, in any of the following cases:
- Incentivised reviews — a review written in exchange for a discount, free product, gift, loyalty points, prize-draw entry, cashback, or any other benefit.
- Paid reviews — a review written in exchange for money, or posted by someone paid to write reviews on a business’s behalf.
- Fake reviews — reviews that don’t describe a real experience with the vendor, including reviews written by the business itself, its staff, competitors, friends, or family, and reviews created using bots or bulk submissions.
- Solicited manipulation — selectively asking only happy customers to leave reviews in return for a benefit, or pressuring customers to change or remove honest reviews.
2. Rules for businesses
Businesses listed on the Platform must not:
- Offer payment, discounts, free products, or any other benefit in exchange for a review (positive, negative, or neutral).
- Write, commission, or post reviews of their own business.
- Pay third parties or use review-generation services to create reviews.
- Offer benefits in exchange for removing or editing a genuine negative review.
Asking customers for honest feedback is fine — as long as you ask all customers, attach no reward, and don’t try to influence what they say.
3. Rules for reviewers
When you write a review, you confirm that it’s based on a genuine experience and that you haven’t received an incentive to write it. Please don’t accept payment or benefits in exchange for a review, and don’t write about a vendor you haven’t actually used.
4. Our warning system
Where we identify a breach of this policy, we act proportionately:
- Removal: We remove any review we find to be incentivised, paid for, or fake. We don’t need to prove intent — if a review clearly breaches this policy, it comes down.
- First warning: The account or business is notified of the breach and asked to stop. Repeat or serious cases may skip this step.
- Second warning: A final warning is issued. We may temporarily restrict the account or add a notice to the business’s profile.
- Removal of trust status / suspension: Continued breaches can lead to the loss of any verified status, a permanent warning label on the vendor’s profile, removal of affected reviews in bulk, or suspension of the account from the Platform.
Serious or deliberate manipulation — such as coordinated fake-review campaigns or paying for reviews at scale — may result in immediate suspension without prior warning.
5. How we detect breaches
We use a combination of automated checks and manual moderation to detect suspicious activity, including unusual review patterns, duplicate or templated content, and reports from the community. Reviews may be held for moderation before they appear.
6. Reporting a breach
If you believe a review has been incentivised, paid for, or faked, please tell us. Reports help us keep ratings honest and are treated confidentially.
